The Leadership Fayetteville program consists of monthly sessions held from August to June. Sessions include an Introduction/Announcement, a two-day opening retreat, a two-day trip to Little Rock and nine full-day sessions. Most sessions are from 8:00am until 5:00pm, and your schedule must accommodate the session times. Each participant will be required to participate in three group projects throughout the year as well as complete several individual projects. The annual Leadership Fayetteville program exists to create a foundation from which its graduates can further expand their involvement within the Fayetteville community.
It is designed to serve as the beginning of a long-term relationship with various aspects of Fayetteville, allowing class participants to learn about numerous segments of the community as well as develop an effective network of contacts through which graduates of the program can pursue their interests in making Fayetteville a better place to live.
The goal of the program is to produce a continued stream of concerned, motivated, and educated individuals of diverse talents and interests eager to pursue and assume leadership roles and volunteer opportunities within the Fayetteville community.

Things to Know
To maximize the Leadership Fayetteville experience, each program participant is expected to attend every session.
The program consists of nine full-day sessions and two overnight trips. Program participants are expected to attend each monthly session. However, if a person does miss any portion of a session, they will be required to complete additional community points for any hours missed. Missing more than eight hours can constitute dismissal from the program and no portion of the tuition will be refunded. No absences from the opening retreat or the State Leadership trip to Little Rock will be authorized.
To graduate from Leadership Fayetteville, a participant is required to attend all sessions and to be present for the entire session. Most days begin at 8:00am and end at 5:00pm.
What's the Cost?
Leadership enrollment fee is $1750 and is due after your application is accepted. Limited scholarship opportunities are available. Applications will be available in April, 2024.
