The beautiful city of Fayetteville is governed by an elected Mayor, who is the Chief Executive Officer for the City.  The City Council is the legislative and policy-making body and does so through ordinances and resolutions.  The City Council also determines the city budget.  There are two council members from each of the four wards elected to serve four year terms, and may serve an unlimited number of terms.

Click here to find more information about the divisions within City Government and to view pictures and contact information about the Mayor and his Council.
