Leadership Fayetteville
WHAT IS LEADERSHIP FAYETTEVILLE?
The mission of the Leadership Fayetteville program is to produce a continuous stream of concerned, motivated, and educated individuals of diverse talents and interests eager to pursue and assume leadership roles and volunteer opportunities within the Fayetteville community.
1. helping them learn about numerous segments of the community;
2. developing an effective network of contacts;
3. enhancing their desire to eagerly pursue and assume leadership roles within the Fayetteville community.
The Leadership Fayetteville program began in 1986 with the first class graduating in 1987. Since then 400 have graduated from the program and many have taken leadership roles in the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce and the Fayetteville community.
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
The Leadership Fayetteville program consists of nine full-day training sessions. The sessions begin in September and continue through May. Graduation will also be held in May. To graduate each participant will be allowed to miss no more than one session.

Social Services
Education
Economic & Personal Development
Healthcare
Northwest Arkansas Day
Government
Quality of Life
A Call to Action
HOW DO I APPLY?
Any member of the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce is eligible to apply for the Leadership program. A formal application must be completed and returned to the Chamber Office.
WHAT IS THE SELECTION PROCESS?
The Leadership Fayetteville selection committee will review applications. The class size is limited. Criteria for class selection include the following:
Chamber members only
Resides or works in Fayetteville
Expresses interest in assuming or maintaining leadership roles within the Fayetteville Community
Written attendance/participation commitment by employer and participant
Letter of recommendation
WHAT IS THE COST?
The tuition fee for each participant is $750.00 and must be paid at time of selection.
